Pre-Team: Participants take Cheer Tech classes, purchases practice wear and a basic uniform and selects only the events they are invited to and want to participate in. Pre-team will learn some basic chants and dances. They will learn basic, fundamental stunting and tumbling. They do not have a team practice but can choose whichever Cheer Tech class suits their schedule and training needs the best.
Performance Team: Participants attend once a week team practices, purchases practice wear and performance uniform package and attends all events on the schedule. Performance team does more advanced Game Day style routines including a band chant, sideline chant, cheer and fight song dance. They perform basic stunting and minimal tumbling.
Competition Team: Participants are selected through an evaluation process and must meet the age and skill level requirements. They must purchase the practice wear and competition uniform package, attend twice a week practices and compete with the team at 5-6 events throughout the competition season. The Competition team has a choreographed traditional, UCA style, cheer routine that includes stunting, tumbling, crowd leading and dance.
